Ideas for R U OK? at Work

It is up to every workgroup to chose what they will do to get into the spirit of R U OK? at Work. The only request we have is that every employee is invited to reach out to someone they care about – either a loved one or a work colleague - who may be having difficulties and ask RUOK?

Team Leader Meeting Guide

The team leaders role is absolutely critical to the success of R U OK? at Work. During the team meeting in the week before R U OK? at Work they are asked to spend 10-15 minutes discussing:

  1. What R U OK? at Work is all about?
  2. What the team will do to get into the spirit of R U OK? at Work?
  3. Ensuring the team knows about the R U OK? at Work resources and support available.
  4. Find a volunteer to print the posters and place in front of the lifts, in the bathrooms, in tea/lunch rooms – also to print “How to ask RUOK?” flyers and distribute by Monday 4th October
The team leader should ensure posters and resources are in place by Monday 4th October and do a final check on the morning of Thursday 7th October before commencement.
