As part of its effort to prevent suicide and to help stop little problems becoming bigger, Medibank Community Fund is proud to be the Principal Sponsor of R U OK?Day. It hopes to encourage all Australians to reach out to anyone they’re concerned about and taking the time to ask “R U OK?”.

Reducing Australia’s high suicide rate is a national priority. According to ABS figures, more than 2,100 Australians take their life each year. For every life that is lost in this way, it is estimated another 30 Australians attempt to take their life (SANE Australia). Clearly, a major response is needed.

By supporting R U OK?Day, Medibank Community Fund is demonstrating its commitment to building a healthier nation and making a positive, real and lasting difference in the community.
